Sheet Music for Naoki Nishi's Jazzy Cantata BWV 147

Here is the sheet music for my transcription of Naoki Nishi's jazz arrangement of Bach's Cantata BWV 147. It is based on a demo song that was originally on my Roland HP 237 digital piano. Feedback is welcome. Any suggestions on how to improve the notation, layout, or musical content will be appreciated. I would like to thank Naoki Nishi for allowing free distribution of this piece. I would also like to thank Fumie Wolff and Jun Yamato of Roland Corporation for their help and cooperation.

UPDATE (April 6, 2015): I have created a GitHub repository containing the LilyPond source file that I wrote for this song. My hope is to collaborate with people who have more experience with notation, music theory, and jazz, in order to make this a polished piece of sheet music. If you don't have experience with LilyPond but you still want to help out, please contact me. There are all kinds of ways to suggest changes: describe in words what you think should be changed; print out the sheet music, write on it, and send a scanned image to me; etc. As I state in the README on GitHub, I have the original recording. I will consider making it available via Dropbox (or something similar) to those who want to hear it.

    Bravo Marc!.. & thanks a lot for the transcription, also many thanks to Naoki for the beautiful mind :), where once again classical and jazz music find the way to very nicely flow into one another.

    Thank you SOOOOO much for this Marc! I really appreciate the work you put into transcribing this. I looked for this score a few years ago, and just decided to look again, and there it is!! Very excited about learning it for myself at last having listened to it on my Roland many a time. And thank you to Roland and Naoki too. I've had a quick run through the music and the score seems excellent to me! :-)

    Hi my name is Junior and I am really interested in getting this sheet music however for some reason the download doenst (don't worry the problem is with my computer not your link.) Is there any other way I can get it?

    @Junior, please try the alternate download link I just added. This is not the first time someone has had trouble downloading the file, so your computer may not be at fault. :-)

    For some reason today it struck me to go looking for this again - I haven't got the tech skills or the ear to translate the demo myself, so it's so nice to find. It's been about 6 years since I looked last and had given up hope! Thank you so much - I can't wait to print and play this :-D Only 16.5 years in the waiting!!!

    Marc,you are a champion! Have loved this demo on my Roland and thought the arrangement was brilliant (Naoki Nishi did a fantastic job). Always wanted to be able to play it and never had the patience to try and transcribe it. Have only just tried to locate it via the web. Now, thanks you to, I have a chance to learn it. Thankyou!!!
